NEW ITEMS OF INTEREST:

12/15/2009 The Cost Report Form has been modified. The form must be completed at all levels of the grievance process. 
11/18/2009 The 2008 and 2009 Annual Report is now available for review.  The two years were combined into one report.  Click this link to see the Annual Report.
6/29/2009 On Monday, June 29, 2009, the Board's Charleston office moved to their new location at 1596 Kanawha Boulevard, E, Charleston, WV 25311. All  hearings and mediations scheduled from June 30th on will be held at the new location. All parties will be notified of the move; however, it will be up to the parties to notify their witnesses of this situation. 

DIRECTIONS: Exit 99 off I-64 Charleston toward State Capitol Building. At 2nd stop light/Kanawha Boulevard, turn right. Office is second house past Elizabeth Street. Parking is available on the Boulevard or behind the office. Entrance to the back lot can be accessed through the driveway located on left side of office or turn right onto Elizabeth Street then immediately turn left into first driveway. When parking on the back lot, be sure to only park behind the Grievance Board’s office.

5/27/2009 The Public Employees Grievance Board announces the appointment of Mr. Bill Bissett.
3/19/2009 The Board announces their newest Administrative Law Judge: Wendelyn A. Campbell. She is scheduled to begin work on March 25, 2009, and will be located in the Charleston office.
3/5/2009 The Board wishes to thank Denise Spatafore for all her years of service. Her last day with the Board was March 4, 2009.
1/5/2009 The Board announces a new Paralegal: Vickie Hoover.  She is located in the Charleston office.
11/24/2008 Tthe Westover office moved to a new location.  Click here to obtain the directions to the new office.
10/31/2008 Effective November 3, 2008, Judge Ronald L. Reece will begin a one-year term as Acting Chief Administrative Law Judge.  Also effective on November 3, 2008, Judge William B. McGinley will begin a one-year term as Acting Deputy Chief Administrative Law Judge.

10/31/2008 The following forms can now be completed using your computer:  The Grievance Form, Intervention Form, Level Two -- Mediation Agreement Form, Cost Report Form, and the Employee Organization Registration Form.
9/26/2008 The Board announces their two newest Administrative Law Judges: Mark Barney and Bill McGinley. They will both be located in the Charleston office.
9/8/2008 The Level One Hearing Guidelines are now available.
6/30/2008 The following new forms are now available: the Grievance Form and instructions; Mediation Agreement Form; Intervention Form; Cost Report Form; and Employee Organization Registration Form.  
6/19/2008 The Grievance Board will be moving their web sites to one location in the new future.  The new web site will be www.pegb.wv.gov.
6/19/2008 The WV Code relating to the Grievance Board has been amended and became effective 6/6/2008.  Here is a link to the new Code.  New grievance forms and procedural rules will become available soon.
5/22/2008 The 2007 Annual Report is now available for review.  Click this link to see the Annual Report.
5/22/2008 The Board's Procedural Rules for Notice and Conduct of Meetings became effective March 31, 2008.  Click this link to see the final version of these Procedural Rules.
3/11/2008 The Board's Procedural Rules for Notice and Conduct of Meetings were filed with the Secretary of State's office on February 14, 2008.  The comment period ended on March 18, 2008.
12/3/2007 The Board's Procedural Rules were filed with the Secretary of State's office on November 27, 2007. They became effective on December 27, 2007.  Click this link to see the final version of the Procedural Rules.
11/1/2007 The Board announces their two newest Administrative Law Judges: Brenda Gould and Ron Reece. Brenda will be located in the Westover office and Ron will be located in the Charleston office.
9/10/2007 The Board announces the appointment of David Roberts of Fairmont, WV.

8/31/2007 The Board announces their two newest Administrative Law Judges: Landon Brown and Tom Gillooly. They will both be located in the Charleston office.
8/30/2007 A draft of the Board's Procedural Rules is now available for a 30-day public comment period.  Click here to see a draft of these rules.  All written comments are welcome and will be taken under consideration.  The deadline to file your comments is September 28, 2007.  They may be sent by mail, fax, or e-mail.
